Sustainability Steps Association, within the scope of the European Union Think Civil Program Digital Transformation for NGOs realizes his project.
Through digitalization, NGOs and social cooperatives can raise awareness on their fields of work at national and supranational level. NGOs and social cooperatives rapidly transitioning to online applications as the coronavirus epidemic affected the whole world; they were able to continue their training, seminars and workshops. In this process, those who cannot go to the field can share their awareness and advocacy work with the public via digital communication.
40 NGOs and social cooperatives will be accepted to the training prepared to use new media and communication tools effectively.

Application and Selection Criteria
- Turkey’s women operating in different cities, the disabled, nature conservation, environment, youth and LGBTI + NGOs and social cooperatives,
- Who want to move education, seminars and workshops to digital,
- Wishing to announce its institution to a wider audience,
- New or medium sized NGOs and social cooperatives,
- Committing to participate in all trainings,
- Preferably want to broadcast live in the short term,
- Gender equality, working area and city diversity will also be among the criteria to be evaluated.
Digital Transformation for NGOs The applicants to the project will be included in the online training program after the evaluation to be made in line with the above criteria. Selected candidates are expected to make a commitment to attend all relevant trainings. The training program is free of charge and will be applied.
